Former Standard Journalist ‘Leaks’ Uhuru-Raila Alleged Secret Deal on Mt Kenya Votes

Recently Jubilee vice chairman David Murathe endorsed former prime minister Raila Odinga for presidency with Trade Unionist Francis Atwoli seconding his endorsement saying it was high time the ODM leader is rewarded for his sacrifices for the country.

Barely two days after the two made their remarks, controversial former Standard Media journalist Tony Gachoka has claimed the entire Mt Kenya people will in 2022 vote for Mr Odinga.

He claimed Mr Odinga and president Uhuru Kenyatta had discussed the issue earlier but wanted it kept a secret until 2022. He said the likes of him and Murathe being insiders saw it good to inform the public.

“I can confirm that its official the entire Kikuyu Nation shall support the Right Hon. Raila Odinga @RailaOdinga for President 2022; following earlier conversations with his brother Uhuru @StateHouseKenya they wanted it quiet. But as insiders we MUST inform the public. Its Baba,” the Journalist claimed.

His statement was however received coldly by former state house employee Dennis Itumbi who ridiculed his sentiments asking the journalist who he is to speak of people’s vote.

Hahaaa sawa Spokesman wa Kura Yangu. Yes Sir! Wewe ndio kusema, ukisema sisi wote ni puppets, unavuta string, sisi tunaskip na kufanya vile umesema. Tumetii. We are all your puppets your say is our command sir no need for campaigns,” he replied to Gachoka.

Hakuna haja ya campaign. Nani kama wewe. Salute Sir! Nimesimama nikitweet hii acceptance, tafadhali mkubwa niruhusu niketi ( I am tweeting this acceptance while standing, please allow me sit my boss),”Itumbi further reacted.

Tony Gachoka is among the many Mt Kenya people who are greatly opposed to DP Ruto presidential ambitions and has constantly attacked the second in command’s Tanga Tanga camp.
