In the last 24 hours, Kenya has reported 164 new COVID-19 Infections from a 3,009 sample size.
In a statement, the ministry of health said the toll now stands at 33,794.
Of the new cases, 158 were Kenyans and 6 foreigners. 90 were male and 74 were female.
The youngest was a six-month-old baby while the oldest was 89 years.
In the same period of time, 156 patients recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 19,590.
Unfortunately, 5 others died pushing the death toll to 572.
The cases were distributed in the counties as follows: Nairobi 56, Machakos 24, Kajiado 15, Uasin Gishu 14, Taita Taveta 11, Nakuru 8, Busia 6, Kiambu, Kilifi each recorded 5.
Mombasa, Turkana, Lamu, Nyandarua each recorded 4, Nyandarua 2, Kisumu, Nyeri, Makueni, Garissa, Meru and Kirinyaga had 1 case each.
Nairobi casee were as follows; Westlands 6, Kasarani and Langata 5 cases each, Embakasi West, Kibra and Starehe had 4 cases each.
Dagoretti North, Embakasi East, Kamukunji, Mathare, Roysambu and Ruaraka had 3 cases each.
Dagoretti South, Embakasi Central, Embakasi North, Embakasi South and Makadara had 2 cases each.
The 4 cases in Mombasa were recorded in Likoni 2 with Jomvu and Mvita 1 case each.
