Kenya has recorded 243 new cases of COVID-19, as the country’s total caseload rises to 39,427.
In a statement, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said that 4,385 samples had been tested in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of samples tested so far to 563,483.
All of the positive cases are Kenyans except 6 who are foreigners.
179 are male and 64 are female while the youngest case is a four-month-old infant and the oldest is aged 80.
3 other patients succumbed to the virus, bringing the death toll to 731.
