Ministry of Health on Saturday announced 136 new Covid-19 cases from a sample 3,707 sample size. The total number has a result risen to 35,020.
Kenya has carried out 471,384 tests, cumulatively.
In a statement, the ministry said that 12 of the new cases were foreigners while 124 were Kenyans.
Age wise, the youngest was an eight-month old infant, while the oldest was aged 75.
85 of the new infections were males and 51 were females.
Nairobi still recorded the highest number of infections in the last 24 hours with 35 cases, Mombasa 25, Kajiado 11, Turkana 9, Kisumu 9 and Migori 8.
99 more patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 21,158.
64 of these patients were from the home-based programme, while 35 were in various health facilities.
5 other patients lost their lives to the novel COVID-19 bringing the death toll to 594.
