The Premier League action returns today after two week international break.
And Manchester United return to action against West Brom on Saturday with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitting Paul Pogba is not happy.
Pogba has started just one of United’s last four games, and looks set to again miss out on a place in the starting line-up when the Baggies visit Old Trafford (11pm).
Bruno Fernandes has made the attacking midfield role his own since joining the Red Devils in January, with Solsjaer opting to play Fred and Scott McTominay behind him as midfield anchors – leaving no room for Pogba.
Fernandes was the driving force behind United’s much-needed victory over Everton before the international break, scoring twice and setting up Edinson Cavani for a third goal.
And manager Solskjaer is again likely to go with his favoured midfield against Slaven Bilic’s side on Saturday, with Pogba having to settle for a place on the bench.
During the international break, Didier Deschamps claimed Pogba was unhappy with his lack of game time at United, and Solskjaer has echoed the France boss’s comments.
“Of course he’s not been happy when he’s not playing, and not playing really well,” said Solskjaer. “He’s not been happy with his performances.”
The manager did insist that Pogba would have a role to play during the season, with the midfielder still striving to get back to his best after suffering with Covid-19 recently.
Elsewhere on the pitch, David de Gea will start in goal, with United open to letting 23-year-old deputy Dean Henderson go out on loan again to further his development.
Solskjaer has selection issues in defence, with Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly ruled out, and Victor Lindelof suffering an ongoing back complaint.
Axel Tuanzebe will get another chance to impress alongside skipper Harry Maguire at the heart of the defence.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will continue as right-back, and it is hoped Alex Telles will be able to make his Premier League debut at left-back after contracting covid-19 recently.
West Brom expect to have defender Branislav Ivanovic, forward Matheus Pereira and Callum Robinson all available following self-isolation after positive Covid-19 tests.
Man Utd predicted XI vs West Brom (4-2-3-1):
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Maguire, Telles; Fred, McTominay; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.
