President Uhuru noted that the public has ‘backslidden’ from its vigilant fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

“If the nation is succumbing to the fatigue created by the virus, it would be a tragedy if the leaders give in to the weariness as well.  And if the people have fallen short of giving their best at this time, we the leaders have no option but to give our all.  We must…know the way, go the way, and show the way,” the head of State said.

As at Wednesday, November 4, Kenya had recorded a total of 58,587 positive cases while the death toll reached 1,051 after 12 more patients succumbed to the disease.
