Businessman Chris Obure and Robert Bodo Ouko who acts as his bodyguard, were on Friday released on Sh50,000 cash bail each.
Appearing before Magistrate Sinkiyian Tobiko, Obure was charged with two counts of failing to secure a fire arm contrary to the fire arms act and failing to secure ammunition.
Ouko on the other hand, was charged with two counts; possession of firearm without a permit and possession of ammunition.
The two suspects pleaded not guilty.
The case will be mentioned on September 30.
On Wednesday, Obure and Ouko were charged with the murder of businessman Kevin Omwenga who also happened to their business associate.
They also pleaded not guilty to the charge. The bail hearing will take place on Monday.
Meanwhile, police on Wednesday arrested a third suspect in the murder; Congolese national identified as Vatha Bahati Josue.
On Thursday, the court heard that Mr Josue was in constant communication with the suspects before and after the murder of Omwenga.
A DCI detective told the court that the suspect’s phone, a Samsung A10, was used to communicate with the murder suspects on the day of the shooting.
He was released on Sh50,000 cash bail pending investigations.
