Comedian Othuol Othuol has died.
The funnyman was admitted at Shalom Hospital on September 29 after his health deteriorated.
In July, fellow comedian Sleepy David disclosed that the deceased was diagnosed with a growth in his brain.
“Do you know that Othuol called Ber to tell him he has a growth in his brain and needs help today,” read Sleepy’s comment.
Othuol had been fighting tuberculosis for a while now, driving him out of the limelight.
“I told my friend Tumbili about how I was feeling and together with my wife, Karis and Butita, they took me to the hospital where I was diagnosed with TB,” he told Tuko some 10 months ago.
He was on medication for six months after which he was given a new bill of health.
“After diagnosis, the journey started. I took medicine for about six to seven months and I finished in October, I was tested and they found out I was healed. So, right now I am fine but I am weak I cannot stand for long or walk for a long distance, I cannot perform for the live audience for now,” he added.
Then, he thanked his boss, Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill for footing his hospital bills and fans for sending him money via MPesa.
“Some fans used to send me money on Mpesa, some would even say they had sent the money for my lunch,” he continued.
“Churchill took me to the hospital, and I also appreciate the Laugh Industry, they paid the hospital bills. Churchill, may God bless you abundantly.”
