A Kenyan owned taxi hailing firm TaxiNet has rolled out its operations

in the country .The taxi firm enters into the competitive market which includes Uber,

Taxify and Little Cabs .The new firm, launched its operations with the Managing Director

Abdirahman Mohamed terming it a game changer in the industry.

'We are already receiving many offers for vehicles to join our stable and hope to offer the best services in the market.'

Mohammed said the Taxi Hailling App was customer friendly and will compete fairly with other players in the market.

'We will also be close to our drivers and customers in a bid to ensure they also get value for their money,'' said Mohammed .

He said the firm will only admit cars manufactured after 2009 only and would charge drivers a commission of 10 % compared to competitors who charge between 15 and 25 %.

Mohammed said they have an efficient management system that will benefit car owners and drivers.

He revealed that the taxi market was huge and was capable of offering affordable services to users .
