Muranga Women Member of the National Assembly Sabina Wanjiru Chege has addressed the issues that are ailing the ministry of health.
Speaking on a phone interview with a local vernacular radio station, Sabina has said that the main duties of her committee in the National Assembly is oversight and law making mostly on all the laws related to the health.
She has said that the Cabinet Secretary for Health Mutahi Kagwe cleared the air on the alleged missing package from the Chinese mogul Jack Ma. She has said that the CS said that they could account for every item that was given though some were faulty.
She agreed that the devolution of the health system to the counties has several challenges while other counties are doing better, most need total overhaul in order to ensure that the country gets the best of the services.
She has given the country’s health system a fair scorecard saying that though much is needed to be done, the country is incomparable to some of the countries in the world.
The leader has promised that her commitment and that of her committee will be unshaken to ensure that the citizens will get the best from the government.
