Safaricom PLC has announced that it will carry out a routine maintenance on a number of services beginning Friday night.
The company on through a statement said that the planned maintenance will start on Friday 4th September at 11 pm and end at 6.00 am on Saturday 5th September.
“To serve you better, we are upgrading sections of our network to boost capacity and resilience” read part of the statement.
The upgrade is part of its commitment to continue providing unmatched services to millions of customers.
“During the planned maintenance, all Safaricom Cloud, Lipa Na M-Pesa, M-Shwari, KCB M-PESA, the Safaricom App, the M-PESA Daraja APO, Mobile Banking and International Money Transfers.”

Other services that will not be available include Safaricom Online Customer Support on Twitter and Facebook.
However, other normal services such as M-Pesa Deposit, Sending and Withdrawals will be available.
Safaricom services including Calls, Data and SMS will also remain uninterrupted.
