Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has been airlifted to Nakuru to record a statement with the NCIC.
The MP, together with his colleagues and lawyers, left Eldoret Airstrip some minutes past 11 o’clock on Sunday morning.
Sudi was accompanied by his lawyers, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang, Uasin Gishu Woman representative Gladys Boss Shollei and Isaac Terer (Former Uasin Gishu Speaker).

The two other lawyers who accompanied Sudi in his unusual trip included Jane Masai and Nathan Tororei
The MP, who on Sunday morning presented himself to Langas police station in Eldoret accompanied by his lawyers, is expected to record a statement over alleged defamatory remarks he made against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family.
“Just taken off from Eldoret Airstrip, landing in Lanet Airstrip, Nakuru shortly,” read Sudi’s post on Facebook.
The MP will later be flown to Wilson Airport in Nairobi from Nakuru, where he will be an expected guest at the NCIC headquarters before being arraigned in court tomorrow.
“I’m being airlifted to Nairobi. Will be landing at Wilson Airport shortly,” communicated Sudi
Sudi’s trip to Nairobi comes just two days after the CID officers raided his Kapseret home in the wee hours of Friday night.
The MP, however, managed to escape the laid down trap, after a section of residents thronged his homestead promising to defend their legislator.
