You Can’t Defend Uhuru More Than I – Murkomen Tells Tobiko As Supremacy Wars Escalate

Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen is not yet done with Environment CS Keriako Tobiko.

The government officials on Friday called each other names as supremacy battles took centre stage.

In a tweet, Murkomen told the former DPP that he could not defend the president better than he seeing as he did not campaign for him.

According to the ex majority leader in the senate, the areas from which Tobiko hails voted for the opposition leader Raila Odinga.

“Tobiko you contributed nothing to UhuRuto. In both Ilpolosat&Mashuri polling stations,NASA won.Your MCAs both in Imaroro&Kaputiei Wards are NASA. No one knows u in your village which you only visit for funerals. In Embobut Uhuru won all votes you can’t defend him better than me,” he fired.

The war of words was started by Tobiko who referred to deputy president William Ruto as a mere clerk in the Jubilee government.

“Murkomen has no respect. He thinks he has the authority to abuse other leaders and the president. You (the press) tell him (Murkomen) to respect the president. Even his boss (DP) is a clerk of the president… Deputy President is the clerk. He is the assistant of the president,” the CS said.

Not one to take insults lying down, the Elgeyo Marakwet lawmaker who is also a close ally of the DP, fired back urging the minister to respect Ruto.

Murkomen also noted that it was wrong for the CS to disparage the DP at a time when the president was continually side-lining him in government.

“Mr. Tobiko you are a mere clerk in Jubilee govt. You forget so fast that you became a CS because the President was trying to get rid of you from the office of DPP. You have no moral authority to lecture your boss the DP even if he is being molested by his boss. First try to be MCA,” Murkomen said.

The once united Jubilee government is seemingly on its death bed.

The DP, keen on occupying the house on the hill, has hinted at moving parties should things not work out in Jubilee.
